Arsenal Team News: When the Gunners face Fulham in the Emirates on Tuesday (today), Arsenal manager Unai Emery could ring the changes.
Arsenal are expected to make several changes to its line-up in order to get back winning ways against Fulham on New Year’s Day.
On Saturday, Unai Emery ‘s side was humiliated 5-1 by Liverpool and a number of players are in danger of losing their palace in the first team.
However, injuries to Ainsley Maitland- Niles– Arsenal’s only goal scorer on Saturday– are still constraining the Gunners.
Arsenal are now five points behind the final Champions League spot, and major changes can occur ahead Fulham visits the Emirates.
Shkodran Mustafi was replaced halfway through the mauling at Anfield and could be replaced by club captain Laurent Koscielny.
Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sead Kolasinac may also drop to the bench with injured stars Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal returning to full fitness.
In recent weeks, Emery has used a diamond formation but opted for a 4-2-3-1 in Anfield and is expected to persevere with the same shape against Fulham.
