Bases on the above, SOS Children’s Villages Somaliland is now seeking to recruit a Construction Estimator and Designer for the extension of five schools located at Sheikh District [Sheik town, Hudusa, Suqsade, Guguh, Alaula, Galolay]
Profile
The overview of the role is to come up with Bill of quantities and Drawings for school expansions that will be done in Sheikh District, Somaliland. In this regard, he/she will be working closely but not limited to SOS CV Sheikh Program Team, and be fully acquainted with all the requirements of the Contract, the documents required for this exercise.
Key Responsibilities
Visit and carryout physical expansion assessment to schools to be extended located at Sheikh town, Hudusa, Suqsade, Guguh, Alaula, Galolay.
Develop concise and completed Bill of Quantities for all schools to be extended.
Develop Construction Drawings for the school extensions at Sheikh town, Hudusa, Suqsade, Guguh, Alaula and Galolay.
Requirements
5 years’ experience in similar position
Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable University
Proven skills in use of Micro soft Office, CAD software, works supervision and works accountancy.
