PSI Somaliland is one of our innovative network members working with the commercial sector in reproductive health, diarrhea prevention & treatment, fever case management, and childhood nutrition. The team focuses on the estimated 60% of women who use the private sector for their first line of health solutions. Using market and behavioral data PSI Somaliland develops marketing plans to increase demand for and access to quality health products and services in the private sector, including through franchising of private health facilities.
We are looking for a manager who will ensure the integration of social marketing within all programs, and that marketing plans conform to Delta process S/he will provide a technical support in strategy development, creative developments and productions.

Has a good understanding of Social and Behaviour Change Communication especially in the Somali Context.
Has working knowledge of production processes and can supervise print and television shoots, recording sessions, editing sessions, and post production
Is viewed as a trusted advisor; partners with departmental teams in a positive,
Leads, manages, collaborates with, and inspires both departmental teams and agency teams to consistently deliver work that is creative, on strategy, on time, and on budget.
Has good understanding of strategic development, creative development, and production, and actively and creatively leads projects to successful completion
Consults with creative, media, production, and research/planning, to be certain agency and client strategies and objectives are understood and incorporated into the work
Understands when and how to keep Market Developments Technical Advisor informed on key project details and when to give MDTA/senior management feedback.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all of PSI’s interventions, and clear understanding of the different consumer segments per intervention, as well as the competitive landscape.
Keep Market Development Technical Advisor informed of key business and category news
(locally and globally) and draw relevant insights and implications for PSI’s interventions.
Help drive marketing and creative and behaviour change strategies based on relevant consumer insights and market place insights. S/he will assimilate such insights into the development of creative strategies and communication plans.
Provide leadership and technical guidance to all BCC and demand creation interventions.
Lead the development of Information, Education, and Communication materials relevant to PSI’s key audiences in line with the various project objectives.
Drive forward regular analysis of the competitive landscape, using existing and improving upon PSI developed TMA tools to fit local needs
Be the leader in providing creative input that improves creative briefs and resulting creative product.
Document and Profile PSI’s key interventions and dissemination of program related activities including best practices, in line with PSI’s PR, Advocacy, communications strategy.
Be responsible for Increasing the visibility of PSI among its external stakeholders through PR, Exhibitions and Media relations events.

What are we looking for?
We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds but expect the following:
Bachelor’s degree in a health related field or Social Sciences with a post graduate degree in Public Health, marketing or communications.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing for health, Management or Health Communicatins
Excellent communication skills and analytical abilities, presented in an insightful, structured way
Willingness to travel within the country as required in the course of duty.
Writes clear, concise, timely, and actionable professional correspondence with minimal input from Social Marketing Technical Advisor.
Demonstrates the ability to identify and communicate key strategic insights and competitive analyses
Team player with unwavering professionalism
Excitement, passion and fire in the belly, combined with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
